hah, no i'm not. it probably came off as sounding meaner than i meant it to. but i don't know what else the guy wants as far as insight, i felt that we pretty much summed up that it CAN and HAS been done and even briefly discussed hybrid motors and higher rev-limits. and considering that his only question was very generic, i think we did a pretty good job of providing answers.

No. It looks like the coil and plug we were superheated to the point that they broke into pieces with debris falling into the cylinder. The small spring that is part of the coil was found in the catylitic converter. ARG!

Update on some options I'm considering:
- Spoon spec/balanced F20C motor
- Rebuild of damaged motor by Alaniz Technologies to 2.2L with their .89mm stoker kit

Anyone with experience with either of the above options?

Is the MY04 ECU a direct plugin to the MY00 wiring harness?

ALANIZ is the way to go. Awsome person and an intelligent guy when it comes to the f20c. That is why my head is there.

I spoke with Alaniz this evening. Reviewed photos of the damaged head and block with Joe and after weighing all the options I'm fairly certain I'll go with their .89mm competition stroker kit.

Hope to be back on the road by the end of April.
