Has anyone swapped a MY2004 engine into a MY2000/2003 S2K?

but the myriad of components you'd have to change over would cause the cost to out weigh the gains.

between the transmission ratios, the rev limiter, the ECU, etc etc..


i just don't see the point i suppose

Too much trouble for what its worth. Depending on the gains you are looking for, boltons, blowers, nitrous, electronics, or any number of things might be adequate, and much cheaper to boot.

don't swap the complete longblock, just swap the bottom end and keep the 2000 head so you can still rev to 9000 rpm. keep the 2000 ecu and just use a VAFC to tune the fuel. You'll have a BEAST!!
