engine swap help again

engine swap help again
so i have everything off so i can pull the engine apart from the transmission (including the top starter bolt and clutch fork). so im wondering whats a good method to pull them apart and since im doing this on jack stands i cant just lower and raise the car as i please so has anybody done this before
by the way its a 2001 and im just swapping out another f20c into it becuase i had that stupid spark plug pop out in cylinder #2 dammit

Well, the easiest way is if you could keep the engine bolted to the tranny, unbolt the front subframe and lower the engine/tranny to the floor as a single unit.
Then do your work to the engine, re-mate the engine-tranny on the floor and then put it back into the car.
One of the hardest things to do is mate an engine to a manual transmission. It's just a PITA.
However this does require that you can at least get your car high enough to remove the engine/tranny combo out from underneath the car.
If you're looking to pull it out from above with an engine hoist, you can do it, it is just not as easy with the clearance to the front crossmember, and then the mating of the engine back to the tranny afterward (PITA).
