I'm unsure what part you are talking about

i think you're just paranoid. like others have say, the f20c is a pretty loud motor at idle. Injectors and valve can cause a light ticking noise if you're trying hard to hear it.

I had a mild case of Honda hypochondria.

When I first heard about how TCTs fail, I went outside and started my car up. I hear what I thought to loud clicking and was concerned. Eventually I heard what a TCT sounds like in person and I realized that I grossly underestimated how loud the injectors are and how much louder a failed TCT is.

I can guarantee the LMAs have nothing to do with your noise.

Took me forever to find it but according to sto his car was making an obnoxious ticking noise and he solved the problem by replacing the LMA's. This is honestly the ONLY instance I found. I have a guy I know who works at the honda dealer try to help me figure out the noise too and he said LMAs. Everyone keeps knocking it and saying the engine is just noisey, well I have heard others who have an s2k and their engine sounds quiet at 180k miles. I have adjusted the valves countless times and even had the guy from honda do them for me to confirm. I even inspected the cylinder walls (always wanted to see) and inspect the valves. All seemed well, I used a bore scope. Anyways as soon as I get to it they are going to be replaced. Oh and I even inspected the bottom end, its fine. So I am a bit lost on what else can cause the noise. If it worked for him, might work for me. If not then oh well
