Default Engine shut down.

hope this is the right forum.

so i was driving down the highway this past weekend and going about 72mph up a long hill. just as i was about to crest the hill, my engine shut off on me for no apparent reason. cluster went blank, but radio remained on as did the heater/fan. so about a minute later as i was coasting down to the next exit ramp, the cluster lit back up and i pulled over and was able to crank back up and go about my way. i never noticed anything weird prior or since. any suggestions on things i could check would be awesome.

Did the fuel shift and cause the engine to shut off? Perhaps the pick up from the tank is malfunctioning?

you mite have a point.. if you were low on gas.. and you were going up a hill you mite of not had gas pumping to the engine. do you remember how much gas you had at the time?
