The same thing happens to me, I have a 2006 with 21,000 miles, I give it more gas and its fine. I hope its just because its a high prm engine. hopefully you nor I need a clutch or flywheel or anything else.

Both my old and new clutch did the same thing - engagement in reverse is a little different then 1st gear.

<edit> I agree with giving a TAD more gas.

Its actually better for the car if you drive it below 3k rpm while warming up instead of just letting it idle.

alot of 4cyl hondas do that rpm dip. including my car and my accord

i use to have d same problem,i replaced my flyweel and pressure plate.

Isn't this where you can do the "whack" on the connector on top of the intake? Some people have cleaned it and zip tied it to good effect.
