Engine removal
Just wondering if anyone has come across a good step by step engine removal thread and if they could pls share it? Or if someone would have the time to do a write up for me would be awesome! Even any tips to make job a little easier or things i should be aware of would be great. Been browsing for a while and can't seem to find anything good. Keeping in mind I will be taking engine out from the top as I don't think I will be able to get car high enough to drop it out the bottom. Thanks guys

I dont' have a write up but i literally just got mine in and took it out and put it back in again haha. Im far from a mechanic, i learn things as i do them. My advice, take off body panels, hood bumper, fenders to make it easier to reach everything. drain the coolant. undo all air intake and vacuum lines. remove engine harness, use a hoise and wrap a chain around the intake manifold, and one on the exhaust side using a bolt to hold the chain there. Then you're pretty much good to go. It's honestly not too difficult. And thats coming from a "noob"
