Engine Rebuild, No VTEC?

VTEC pins are located in the rockers. When the rocker assembly is removed (needed for head removal) it is very easy for the pins to fall out unnoticed.

I'll give you some advice. take your ARP head studs and junk them. Stock bolts hold better. It has been proven on this car years ago.

You might want to take a look at the vtec solenoid filter. It could be plugged if the block wasn't thoroughly cleaned, metal shavings and such.

Billman250, Are the ARP head studs really that bad? I'm in the process of assembling my engine and I was going to use ARP's head studs.
