You wont be able to run CP pistons without sleeving the block.

well ur gonna have to take seperate ur tranny from ur engine first so u can get to the fly wheel etc... so i would assume taking ur engine out of the bay would be the best thing to do.

The 2.2 is only stroked so with the 2.2L crank and aftermarket conrods designed to 2.2L specs you are ready to go. Bearing sizes depends on the markings on the block and crank (or actual measurements) and the requirements of the rods.

U can pull the pan and replace the bearings that way but its not guaranteed that its gonna last! Thats the cheapest way.

since the block is apart would you recommend new pistons given i plan on turboing in the near future or are the oem confortably able to reach 350hp with no issues?

also are machine shops responsible for fabricating the rings and bearings or should i just buy atermarket ones to make the engine bulletproof i dont know which rings to buy!

350!!!

Stock pistons, rings and bearings are more than up to the task.

If you were aiming for over 400 it would be advisable to lower compression and this would be a good argument for new pistons but it opens a whole new kettle of fish. Such as compatibility with FRM.
