Engine Problem (P0107 and P1412 detected)
Hi guys...
I repainted my ride and had everything back the way it was afterwards. I was able to drive the car normally without no problems when suddenly the next day, I started the engine and the idle dropped from the usual 800-1000 to 500-below. When I step on the gas, the engine would start rattling like it's having a hard time reving up or start like coughing and it would go dead, so I'd start it up again.
Thought the problem was the sparkplugs so I had them changed. When I started it up it ran fine, then it went back to it's 500 below idle (like 1-2 bars on the rpm gauge. Tried removing the plug to see if any of the sparkplugs weren't firing, but all 4 of them were working. Step on the gas, the engine would rattle and have a hard time accelerating. Tried pressing the gas pedal repeatedly just to make it get past 1000 but the engine would just cough and sometimes go dead. When I did get the rpm to go, it would only go till 3000rpm cut off.
What could the problem be? Please help me out. First time to encounter this sort of problem. What can I do?

Ei Realblag, I didn't do any wiretucking for my car or move any harness
What I did to my car after posting this thread...
1. Removed and cleaned the IACV
2. Removed and cleaned the throttle body
3. Install everything back in its place
Result:
Idling at 1300. When I step on the gas it has a hard time accelerating at the RPM(at neutral, till 3000rpm limit only. Sometimes after acceleration it'll drop back to 500 then die or sometimes back to 1300.

ouch limp mode! This happened to me at a target parking lot randomly, I ended up missing work and having to tow the car home. But I just plugged and unplugged all the connections that was on the same harness as the map sensor, reset the battery (after resting it a thousand times in the paring lot) and it went back to normal. Never happened again. I think what caused it was loose connections from minor wire tucks

I guess that's what's happening with mine now.
Update on what happening now...
Pulled the plug off the map sensor, nothing happened (is it supposed to be like that?) Unscrewed the map sensor off the throttle body, the engine started to react and stop so I put the map back in then start. Got the idle on 1000 now and the engine doesn't cough or rattle when I rev it...
Now the problem is I can't get it to go past 3000rpm.
Dang!!!!

TRD Celica,
Will try that now man.
Update,
Was able to rev it properly to 3000rpm but sometimes it still coughs up. Has a hard time going up to 2000rpm but the idle is good at 1000rpm.
