Default Engine problem 08 ap2 26k need help !

Ok heres the story. 08 ap2 w 26k, Had the car since 2800 miles. Bone stock .I find a noise when you hit the throttle from idle to 4000rpm its a fast tick that seems to disappear after 4000rpm. Almost sounds like tct problem but slightly quieter. The sound gets faster as rpm increases from idle to 4000rpm. I worked for my honda dealer in town for the past few years and my car has the cpo 100k warranty so I bring it there. I know the tech and hes smart but obvi doesn't see our cars often or more specifically this problem so hes stumped on what it is and thinks there is internal damage but is unsure exactly where right now. He did a valve adjustment and told me they were tight and returned them to spec. Also did the tct and noise still remains. I read the post about the dbw cars valves being tight and he confirmed my 08 ap2 did infact have tight valves at 26k. What could be damaged ? Any help will be appreciated as he doesn't know where to go from here ! Thanks

Ok so I asked a friend he said that a tick like that at lower RPMS will be rod bearings. But that is pretty drastic so if I were you I would just do a UOA and go from there.

I dont wanna scare you but i have no idea lol and he knows a decent amount of things so just wanted to let you know.

have you ever ran it low on oil??

I doubt it's a rod bearing, however, if you want to find out quickly, drain your oil and look for glitter.
