i change it twice a year and do about 8-9 k a year, i do it myself, in Kalifornia it costs me about $2.00 a quartfor names brand at costco and 6-9 for a filter...sometimes a NEW crush washer is used, every time a crush washer is used.
i haver only 49,000 plu miles on it and it runs like a top and used no oil.
It also runs differently after a change and almost every other day....i chalk that up to minor differences in temp/weather/etc...but not to an oil change, i wonder how you would tell how long it runs "better" if you didn't look at the odo and measure?

I personally do not care what anyone thinks eother in this forum or everywhere else
- It used to cost me $5 to change the oil every weekend. You can buy for that money a cheseburger or 2 sodas..... But I decided to spend it on oil change
To each his/her own. I don't really care what everyone thinks or laugh over my frequent oil change.
I'm sure if I look at each one of your personal life I'll find money wasted somewhere. To each his/her own
end of story

Gina,
Where did you dispose off your used oil???
Can I have your 1 week old stuff? I can get an additional 51 weeks out of it!
