Ok then, took the car out last Friday for a really good run, it still does it a tiny bit when cold but when hot the noise is 99% gone after a TCT shotblast, however OP after reading this thread from start to finish again , this wont help you as you have already done the TCT fix !!! I am no longer going to beat myself up over this as it works perfectly and idles/revs like a sewing machine, good luck.

Haha i very much appreciate the input/effort.. the hunt continues. However i may get a tct from billman just to rule it out completely and continue to ponder and keep looking/listening for the source of this irritating noise.
