Engine noise
Looks like I am beeing screwed by local honda dilership sercice center, so VERY need your help.
For last 1.5 month my 04 S2k with 28K miles started to have this annoing noise.
The car sounds perfect when ideling and in any RPM range when cold. When you drive withing street speed limit it's stil fine. But after you take it to a highway and run for few minutes, then this noise comes on. It's very rythmic noise from the engine, not sure how to describe, ticking or clicking, goes faster as RPM go up. But even when engine is hot there is no noise ideling, only between 2500-4000 RPM, then kinda goes away. Nothing else is wrong.
So its in the dealership, and I think they f&$%ing with me, saying they need to take have of engine apart, the whole repair about $2000.
So any help regarding this noise is appreciated!!!
Thanks guys.
