The ones on the wife's '01 were toast when I swapped the engine back when. The ones from the AP2 donor car were bad as well. My experience is 0-2.

Yeah that is typical unless you run the Ingalls damper but I ran the NRG ETD and removed my heatshield (i didn't want to cut it and I knew I was going to install my supercharger which meant I could not run that ETD any more so there was no reason to cut the shield in my case). J's Racing, M&M Honda and Spoon (if you can find one) are also good options.
