BTW, look into getting an engine torque damper. I prefer the ones that fit onto your shock strut and attach to the engine hoist hole to the left of the VTEC solenoid on the head. The ETD will stiffen up the powertrain and prolong the life of your new mounts especially if they are OEM (soft rubber, liquid filled) so they don't tear as easily over time.

So my 2009 has 85K miles on it. Always garaged, never tracked even though I thought I would. All stock. I purchased new engine and transmission mounts as I thought I would replace them if and when I performed a clutch change.
Everytime I look at the engine mounts, I see no cracking or leaking of any kind. 13 years in and they appear to be just fine. I tend to think OEM is the way to go.

Mine look clean, with no cracks or leaks, too. I'm gonna let sleeping dogs lie.

Honestly, if you know how to heel & toe, and don't do clutch dumps, drag launches, and are smooth with the throttle, you will never tear a mount on this car.

I ran it for a little while but removed it. I have solid Spoon engine and transmission mounts and I think the combination made for too much vibration.

Yeah I think the days of hard autox launches (especially in Lincoln on concrete) was what wore mine out. I was on track when they failed but it was evident they had plenty of cracks forming in them already. But those 6000 rpm launches on 255s are pretty hard on mounts !
