Engine light comes up!?
I went to Honda dealer to do my TSB-054 which is the clutch job..
however, it is been done today then I got it back the noon..
after I got it back, I didn't try to rev it to vtec!!
and, tonight, when I passed a car, I vtec'ed, all the sudden, the engine check light pops up!!
then, I open my hood to see if any vaccum tube is losen or not connected... no, I didn't find any..!!
but the car acts ok cuz since my engine check light comes up, the car didn't have any strange noise, and since I am on the way home, I drove another 20 minutes... nothing weird to the car...!! so, anyone with the same problem, or any idea what should I do?

Possible chance that your oil pressure is low... most times I've ridden in a VTEC eqiupped car and the engine light comes on, it has been from where the oil has shifted... VERY temporarily lost pressure and caused the light to go out. If it comes on, cut the engine and restart... if the light then goes out, no worries. If it stays on, head to the dealer!
Good luck!

Check the "check valve" in the vaccum lines in front of the engine block. (Its white) Its
inbetween the vaccum line thats goes from the intake manifold to the left side of the vaccum pump.
After I installed the Comptech CAI my check engine light came on because I had it in backwards. Its very easy to put it in wrong. If you need a pic LMK and I'll get you one. BTW I love the CT CAI!!

and, I check all the tube...but didn't find any that is losen..!!
if they connect it wrong, how come the engine check light goes on just now, not right after the dealer is done with it?
man, I am so worry of my baby..!!

I checked my oil, the oil is on the right level..
I am gonna drain the oil as soon as I found the answer..
cuz I am using the synthetic oil...
but they filled with half quart non-synthetic oil due to they have to take out the oil filter..so they just refill a little back to my engine..

ok, now, the light is off, but I wonder, if I vtec it again, will the same thing happen to me again...
Also, since disconnect the battery works, then why it made the engine check light goes on?
