Engine light, code P0104
Hey S2ki,
So my AP2 2006 is throwing code P0104 which states " Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Intermittent". I have tried looking up what could be causing this but all im seeing is to replace the sensor, but our car doesnt have a MAF and was also informed our car does not have a EGR which is sometimes related to this issue.
Could it be related to my MAP sensor somehow even though that would be a different code?
my car currently has a Injen CAI if that will help diagnose the issue.
Thank you!
Bryan

No, it's already thrown the code. So the code exists. Your scanner may not have the ability to interpret the information. Later cars used OBD II with the CAN protocol. You need a scanner that will read it.
Or are you saying you didn't have a CEL but you just hooked up the scanner to see what it says? In that case, if the CEL is not on, why try to read for a code?

What the guys are saying is your scanner may be what I call "off protocol", meaning it is interpreting the data wrong and giving a code it should not. I can check in the morning when I get to the shop.
