I've got 70,000 miles and the clutch was replaced at 55,000. So i'm guessing my clutch isn't really the issue. I'm going to try siphoning the gas out now that I think about it. I put regular gasoline in it by accident the day I bought mine. Would it have taken so long to start having an effect if it was the gas though? (Bought the car with 58,000 miles on it)
Can someone elaborate on how it could have something to do with the catalytic converter? I've been told by two different mechanics that it's a probable cause.

Over time the honeycomb inside the converter can break away from excessive heat and can clog up if you will, preventing your car from breathing properly. It needs to inhale and exhale just like us humans

Well my car was just in the local shop getting it's CV Joints replaced and I asked them to run diagnostics on the car. They said the car is running lean and there is an error code on the map sensor. They said replacing the map sensor would fix all my problems, but I don't understand why the sensor has trouble reading when it's hot out.
Replaced the map sensor and the car seems to be better.
