Engine Hoses
Sometimes when i am idleing, the car sputters pretty hard. So today i had the day off and i started snooping around the engine bay. I found that my CAI was not even touching in certain parts, so i fixed that. Then I looked for a vacuum leak and found that green arrow had no fastener on it. So i went and bought one. So my question is, what is the nomenclature of that hose, what does it do, and can that make my car rev very low while idleing?
Also if you could give a brief description of the other color coded hoses it would be so appreciated. I am new to the engine world. So this would be a great help! Thank you so much in advance. Peace.

green: vacume hose for fuel pressure regulator. regulates fuel pressuer in the fuel rail based on how much vaccume is in the intake manifold.
yellow: fuel return line from the fuel pressure regulator.
blue: i dont know.

Blue is a vacuum lead that goes under the manifold and connects to the ICV at the bottom of the pic.
Pink if the crank case breather that connects to the intake piping. It draws off fumes from the crank case and burns them through the engine.

BTW, vacuum lines don't really need a clamp of fastener as it is vacuum that holds them on.
As for you CAI not touching, what do you mean by this?
