Im sure that you could run the damper on another STB. Just would require a custom mount welded to the STB.

So without a custom mount, another strut bar cannot be used?

Here's some pics of Statocaster's Comptech STB bracket that has been modified to use the J's damper. Myself and a friend of mine have modified several J's damper brackets to better fit the LHD cars.
