engine coolant question

Default engine coolant question

hey, i'm about to do a coolant flush to install the mugen thermo and switch, i was just wondering if i need to buy the engine block drain plug washer and thermostat rubber seal.

engine block plug washer??? y??? you don't really have to take the plug out.... just reflush couple time w/ water.

90401-PR4-000 WASHER, SEALING (28MM) $1.97 Is the Part#. The service manual say's to apply Honda Ultra-Flange II also.

There really isn't any need to drain the block on your 05. Be careful not to round off the head of the block plug. It's soft metal and easy to do. You'll need a long 1/2 drive ratchet with a flexible head for the beast chance at removal without damage.
