is the block used? interesting he used ti when iron is what most of the companys use, what was he using the block for. as far as i know you dont want to go past 89mm bore

Are you sure that the sleeves are Titanium. Its one of the last materials I would have thought you would want to use for cylinder bores. Titanium is renouned for problems work hardening, glazing and gauling when used in a rubbing situation. Sure its not just the brand name rather than the actual material they are made from.

Well, you can only overbore so much. I think Honda only allows about 1.2mm, so that's not much. I think the question should be what you want to do with the engine overall?
If you want to run NA with oversize pistons then it might not be too bad with larger bore.
If you wan't to run high boost then it's more risky with thinner cylinder wall.
There is no need to run larger bore if the sleeve can handle high boost like 50psi
Just keep the same volume and turn up the boost

honda9krpm... at what angle was your sleeves crosshatched? i know honda says 60 degrees but i was just wondering if it changed with the different manufacturers
