Even though Im mildly modded (CAI, single exhaust, header), is it still possible to blow my engine? What things/factors can cause an engine to blow? I also want to eventually get a VAFC2, but I'll have it pro tuned by Shawn Church. So should I be in the clear of blowing my engine?

If you've never over-revved, run too low on oil, or sucked water in your CAI, the chances of blowing you engine are slim.

it's always possible to blow your engine...even when you're stock with no mods.

Well, I think that removing the battery, coil packs, and a few other bits might make the engine pretty "blow proof," but even then, with a push, enough speed, and a clutch drop in first, you could still find yourself saying, "Darn, I done blowed up the motor."

You can always eleminate the possibility of throwing a rod or bending a valve by installing a rotery.

Are the blow-proof stickers compatible with my VTEC stickers?

I heard they are not compatible without tuning. Of course then you'll want to add RLTC because the power output will be astronomical. I think it's all mentioned in a sticky.

it's all about whether the driver's "blow proof" or not. and even then, everyone makes mistakes...
