Engine block oil leak ?
So I noticed some dry oil around the crack of my engine block. Between the red stock cover and metal bottom half. Is this normal to see a little bit of oil by the crack areas on the front and side? Car performs and sounds fine though. And I never overfill my oil when I add any.

If the leak is betwen the red valve cover and the head, it's pretty normal. If that's the case, replacement of the valve cover gasket should do the trick. This doesn't usually become a problem until you have a good amount of miles on the engine, so how many do you have on your 8 year old car?

I'll bet he means where the head meets the block (chaincase leak)
Very common to find a light oil stain here.
