Engine Bay Temps

Engine Bay Temps
What's up s2k community? I am curious if anyone has ever taken temps at various parts of the engine bay e.g., valve cover or oil pan? I'm getting my temp gun in Friday and I am looking forward to getting some information going. I would love to have the opportunity to compare some data. I have done some searching and have not gathered much data at all. Thanks for your input.

I've played around with mine a little. What are you looking to discover?
At operating temp the exhaust manifold is about 600, valve cover is about 200, intake manifold is a little less. The most interesting thing I found was the transmission tunnel inside the car gets to 90* F at operating temperature - Honda should have advertised a heated arm rest.

I added some B quiet to the tunnel and placed 3M Thinsulate under the "drink holder" and the rest of carpet/armrest. Made a huge difference thermally and acousticaly.
