wow, someone started the ultimate fail thread, and then Nyther made it worse!!
To the OP. Read all the FAQ's. In there is someone sarcastically answering this - you wouldn't want to be woken up with a kick in the nuts and then asked to run as fast as you can.
Give your dad back his car and when you have learnt to look after it by reading all the threads on S2ki, then prayed to allah or jesus or the car gods for another 3 years for fogiveness, then, and only then, are you ready to perhaps maybe but only possibly be a passenger in another s2k.
You may also want to read about engine transplants, cos you will probably be doing one soon.
Just my 2c.
Ok, so that may be taken the wrong way. So here is something more helpful.
Start the car (this is done with the round red button) and let the car idle for a bit. While sat waiting, reach over your shoulder and open the center pocket. Reach under the front lip and there is a catch. Lift this up to reveal an amazing secret compartment. In there is a book explaining a few things about the car, like letting it warm up.
Once you have read this, your car is ready to drive. Start slow, and after 5-10 minutes give it a good seeing to. Drive it to the gas station and check the tyre pressures while you are there.
On another note, do you think when they were designing the S, they said "forget that safety thing, noone will VTAK the engine cold..." and then someone said, "nah, leave it just in case..".
Hope that helped. The End

Sorry to say guys but 3 bars = not the "go go go" sign for redlining since only the water is at temp then and NOT the oil. Please wait at least 5K miles before the oil is warm enough to harmlessy floor the pedal...
