This has been a very good informational thread. This will be linked into the FAQ's (at the top of Techical) for all to reference.

I'm going to close this now so we don't have friends duking it out about "brake cleaner vs carb cleaner". (You can always start another thread if you truly want to debate this. For now, it's sufficient that we have both sides of the story for people to take caution of each option.)
