Smile Emanage does not regonize a honda engine

I tried to update the unit before tunning. jumpers are set correctly used a VTECfrog harness with ingnition and injector harness incorporated.

this are the step that I followed:

1- Connected the VTEC frog, both connecter 1 and 2
2- Got a message to update the unit
3- Used the 1.39 firmware version
4- After two min. got a message, a pop up, saying that the process had finished
5- Turn the ignition to OFF
6- Click OK on the pop up
7- Turn ignition to ON
8- DID NOT GOT THE "THE DATA ON THE MAIN UNIT WAS LOST" message

When checking the parameter:

Rotary SW1 = 0
Rotary SW2 = 0
Rotary SW3 = 0

AirFlow Meter 1 = in use = AirFlow meter 1
AirFlow Meter 2 = NONE = -
AirFlow Meter Pulse Input = NONE = -
AirFlow Meter Pulse Output = NONE = -

Any thoughts???

Are you saying your rotary switches are 0-0-0 or that you have them set to 4-8-C but the software shows 0-0-0?

If the former, change them to 4-8-C.

If the latter, SH!T!!!

the rotary never were 4-8-C

after update I checked the Setting parameter, Rotary setting were 0-0-0

I could not choose the F20C code HN- PR3 because did not existed any code starting by "h"

I cant change it to 4-8-C, because I cant choose a HN engine code, only MZ (mazda), TY (toyota), and a lot of NS (nissan)

Could I got a wrong emange?

The rotary switches are physical. Unplug the E-manage, set switches to 4-8-C and plug it in again. Then check the support tool and you will see the read out shows 4-8-C and the engine type is F20C.

I forgot. You have to open the E-manage and remove the logic board to change the dials.

You can see them in the top left of this photo:

thanks you Wayne and Chris

Thought that the rotary switches were a software problem. i check the jumprs like a 1000 times but never thought that the rotary were a hardware problem. I read the manual but seems that I did not saw that pages.
