Electrical issue shutting my car off: where should I start first?

Lol...if the ground was tight that probably wasn't the issue unfortunately. The ignition switch could be another possibility...especially if the whole cluster is losing power when the engine dies.
I just resoldered the bad wire really nice and electrical taped it up like a boss
Same **** no start!!!!

Will test it, I took apart the start button and noticed the red LED doesn't work. Maybe it's dead or perhaps my transponder/ignition key is having issues which would explain the shutdown. It would also explain while the ignition relay cutoff is failing(just a click)....no key detected and the system shuts down or doesn't even attempt to start the engine, just power the basic electronics.
I'm going to find my second key set and try it out.
