Just encountered some weird smell coming underneath my hood and a bit on the inside. Smells like electrical burning. Clutch is good, still grabs really well, so I am ruling that out. What could it be? It is coming from the area of break fluid reservoir and back of intake manifold, somewhere down there. Any ideas? I did launch the car the other day, and it started to happen immediately there after.

Probably clutch. It will still grab if you burn it a little. Other than that, run the car and poke around right there.

So you think the smell will go away after a while? It does not smell like a clutch issue though, different. More like electrical burn.

maybe your alternator is going to die. but i think its the clutch because the launch.
