I know the thicker springs should go in the back. Eibach with stock 16 tires:

i have eibachs, it's maybe 1 finger in the front and maybe 1.5 finger in the rear. it's settle after a week, i had the big gap when i first installed them too (stock shocks).

old pic, ended up retinting windows and changing out the exhaust, but here you can see the drop with 18s...

Fwiw, my S on Eibach Pros and Koni yellows, low perch:



Drive a couple miles and they will settle, other than that, maybe there's something about the Showa perch position that makes the springs sit higher.

Thanks for all the pic replies.

Ok, it seems to have settle to just over 2 fingers at the rear and almost the same at the front. Bear in mind I have big fingers.

I have 18s on the way in a week and a half, I'll update then.

Still a little stumped by how much less my HIDs are projecting though.

i think mine took two weeks to officially settle down, i also left all nuts/bolts loose, i let all the weight down and torqued it. your 18s will be perfect, i have 255s and no rubbing/no fender rolling.
