Eibach dual valve spring question.

Eibach dual valve spring question.
Ok I started putting my head together tonight but I came across some things and now I feel i should have done a little more research...
Here is the question. I purchased a Eibach dual valve spring and titanium retainer kit off a member online a while back. Well I noticed with other kits like Skunk2 they have bases for the dual springs to seat on. I do not see a base kit at all for the Eibach dual valve springs. Also wondering If anyone knows if these retainers are safe with the oem keepers?
Also I was told the keepers rarely go bad and are safe to reuse, The engine was low mileage so i think using them would be safe?:/
I really hope that someone out there can help.
Thank you.

You need a base to support the springs at their design setup height, and to locate the two springs appropriately. The stock pressed metal seat wont work with a dual spring setup. I would get at set of Superteck or BC spring bases. You should be able to use seats made for the K20A as the valve spring setup is the same.
Keeper wise, there was a slight change after the 2006 models. I think the angle was changed slightly. You will have to find out which angle keeper the retainers were designed for. Chances are its going to be the 2000-2005 spec.
Good luck with the project.
