for the EDFC owners
The Main piston shaft of the Tein Flex is rotating while driving car. Since the EDFC motor is connected to this shaft, the cables are getting tangled around the shaft with the risk of snapping the cables.
Piston shaft can be easily rotated by hand. Is this how it should be.
Here is a link to an AVI to describe myself better
right click, save as
http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/fto/DSCF0003.AVI
Is this normal?

the link to avi doesnt work for me.. buttt
they should not rotate as freely as u speak
while its on ground... try and tighten the top nut some more.
if that doesnt cure it..
im not sure how the flex works on s2k but on my civic (mcphearson strut, their was a clamp that came w/ the EDFC that made it so it couldnt not spin freely.. (looks like a big C and a L brackette..
look for it in ur EDFC kit,

yeah avi finally worked..
try tightening nut if not take off car.. and then hold the shock piston... and then tighten nut more.. seems to me like a loose nut.. if not install the package i said above^

Is that nut visible a lock nut? Would tightening it lock the shaft in place?
Since these are pre assembled and purchased NEW, I wouldn't want to do harm if i thighten them more then specified.

sorry i coudlnt help i guess we have diff edfc.. (ine used to do same till i installed kit)
worst case scenario contact TEIN USA in cali.. theyll prolly ship u new fronts.. or at least the upper mounts.. it seems to me.. theirs not enuff "preload" on the shock.. not enuff coefficient of friction in order to stop rotation
