Default ECU and Valve adjustment problems

I just adjusted my valves according to the Helms. Before I turned the car on I pulled the ECU fuse (2nd down from the top on the right column).

I dont hear any new noises or ticking. I just get this crazy low idle after giving it a little gas. I know S2000's have a problem with the ECU and idle and everything. I've had this idle problem before but it always went away after driving a bit. I drove it around the corner and 5 out of 7 times that I stopped, it cut off. The idle drops down to the last bar on the tach and either comes back up or stalls.

I didn't have to move the adjuster screw much to feel the slight drag on the feeler gauge. I tightened everything up and reconnected all sensors.

Could my valve adjustment be doing this, or is it just the ECU "learning" after being reset?

Sorry for the long post.

Thanks in advance

Clear the ECU. And touch the the positive and negative battery cables together. then reconnect the battery. now this will clear your radio so you will need you radio code. Start the car with the A/C and all other loads off. Let the car idle for about 10min. that should learn the idle.

When you let it 'learn', make sure you're not helping it by blipping the throttle to keep the rpm up. Let it stall. restart, let it idle.
