Is there a differance between an 01 & and 02 ECU & if so what?

not really, you'd want a 02-03 ECU if you have a 00-01

Better air-fuel ratio gives more power.

How difficult are they to install & is there any type of programing required?

they are easy, but you need to have the ECU recoded to your keys at a dealership

im curious about this too. Would I even need a newer ECU if Im gonna go with VAFC?

IS all the reprograming done prior it installation at the dealer, or does it need to be installed in the car & then taken to the dealer?
