Default ECU and OBD II

Whats up guys....need some help....

1. Where exactly is the ECU in our car....

2. Where exactly is the OBD II plug.

In case you want to know, I am getting a PALM Pilot (or maybee a pocket pc) and OBD II so I can monitor everything in my car.

Its Cheaper than gauges, and a lot more info provided. Thanks for the help....

The ECU is located on the driver's side kick panel (left of the clutch pedal). When you pop that off, you'll see a metal square box with 3 plugs with a bunch of wires plugged into it, that's the ECU.

Glad I could help, althought I don't know where the OBD II connector is, never checked.

I believe thats the one....im not 100%, but at least 90% sure thats it. I just installed this on my friend's turbo RSX and its great. But I think Ill use a pocket PC just for the flexibility....NAVI...etc...

On the MY00-01, yes it's on the passenger side.
On the MY02-03 it's on the driver's side just behind the side cover by the headunit.

On-Board Diagnostics...it's what the service shops charge you $85 to plug a $50 box into and tell you how many LED flashes they get
