i was using a graphing tester, and 1x1 sensor was working normally, 1x2 was staying at 1.2 volts with no fluctuation. After the mix up I made, checked again and they were both stuck at 0, and when changing them back they showed 1.2 each with no fluctuations at all.
Is there a specific reading I could look for at the plug to the o2's to know if they are okay?

Search for H02S (Heated Oxygen Sensor).

Have the manual, couldn't find the search term. Thanks, I'll be going through those lists over the weekend. The one thing I don't see is what the input voltage to the o2's should be. I have a new O2 sensor and would like to double check it won't just burn it out putting it in. Any advice on that?

The heater circuit for the sensors should receive battery voltage and the measuring circuit should be somewhere below 1V I think, might want to check that before you put in any new O2 sensors.
You can check the pins in the manual, think it starts around chapter 11-55.

Alright, it looks like an ECU problem. Looking into buying a used and hopefully can find a small shop that can program it for me (the dealership quote was $104 if I do all the work). I'll update once I complete this next step.

Any update on this? I stupidly done the same just earlier when I replaced my clutch. Dang it. So is the ECU done for? Did it require reprogramming afterwards?

Yeah, the new ECU fixed the P0135. I did have a bad O2 sensor, but I think that was from before I made my oops. I bought an ECU with the key as well, so I could test it before programming anything. Got a key cut without any chips on it, just a door key, and then taped the new ecu's key to the door key so it would read the correct chip then installed the ECU, and I'm currently still driving around like that. Awesomely ghetto, but it works until I get the dealership to program it for cheaper, or decide to just have a locksmith reprogram my key instead of the ECU.

I just did the same thing

Had both sensor failures up, put the wires back together correctly and now have primary fault

Anybody manage to fix the ecu rather than replacing and recoding etc?

my ap1 0a1 ecu 170k has intermittent short, and it started this june.
iat ect map tps o2 vss engine speed(rpm), etc. sensors acting up badly.
i already ordered a 0a2 ecu (02-03)
ima install n see what happens as soon as i get it, im sure there is no wiring issuse, cuz ive wiggled the harness from driver side kick panel to engine bay with a long pliar cuz the abs n some hoses n behind the ValveCover
also tested the wires with backrprobe n dvom.
