ECG O2 Simulator (5-wire) Installation Instructions/Diagram
I have received alot of PM's regarding how I hooked up my ECG O2 Simulator. I just made a diagram to make it easier for everyone. Hopefully this will come in handy for alot of people since I got so many questions about installation.
5 Wire ECG O2 Simulator Installation Instructions/Diagram
Use at your own Risk!!!
This is the exact wiring I used to install my ECG O2 Simulator on my 2004 S2000. However, I do not assume any responsibility for anyone who uses this diagram. This diagram is based off of my 2004 S, and should work with the 00-03's also, as long as the pin layouts on the ECU's are the exact same.
(I'm not saying it won't work, i'm just covering my a$$, just incase something happens. If something were to happen, then of course I wouldn't be putting up this diagram )
In the diagram, the quote "(TAP)" is plotted next to each wire which requires splicing into.
Note: The ONLY wire you will cut is the red/white wire, which is the Secondary 02 Sensor Wire (C15)
Enjoy!!!

that happened to me also. it resulted in me cutting the wrong wire for the secondary 02 sensor. i correctly re-wired it and it was still there. I pull the ECU back up fuse out and left it out for about a minute and put it back in and the CEL never came back on...
so i would...
1)make sure all wire are connected properly
2)pull out the ECU back up fuse
