why is the ebay listing for a kevlar intake duct and the one you have looks like its made of plastic?
all the intake snorkel that doesn't require cutting the hood looks too restrictive at the bend from the pictures that i've seen (i haven't seen any in person). i'll probably just end up making my own out off fiber glass.

what's the difference between J's V-Type hood vs. Seibon MG hood. they both look very similar. does one have more clearance for the intake snorkel than the other.

I've just released the new version of our intake snorkel. Very early in it's development we had 3 owners (out of about 300) that claimed they had to adjust their hoods and 1 person that actually cut their hood.
We've made progressive modifications to the mold based on the feedback of those owners and have just recently started selling the new version. To date we have had no issues with fitment whatsoever.
The snorkel version I am referring to fits all year models and has a groove for the bar included on 2004 models upward.
You can see it here...

I have one only left in stock at present (they've almost sold out overnight) but more are being manufactured.

I have the Seibon MG hood. There is no extra clearance for snorkle. It is on the outside but not underneath, just for show

If I am not mistaken there are 2 differant versions of the Js intake and also 2 versions of the copy of the Js. One was designed to work with their hood and one for the OEM hood. The OEM version was thinner on the top and a bit wider across to accomidate the OEM hood.
I had one of the original Muz' intakes. The fitment was dead on, the only problem I had was the inside of the intake was not smooth. It had some buildup of resin inside, but once I broke it out it worked fine. I contacted Muz and he said that he would replace if I wanted him too. Great to do business with these guys. One of my kids stepped on it when I had it out of te car, so I broke down and bought a Spoon. As for the perforamance factor you get nothing more from the Spoon, I should have ordered another one from Muz. Live and learn!
