The cts unplug trick might work. The car does have a cold rev limited. This won't prevent burnouts or abuse to 7k rpm, though. Including slamming gears.

Unplugging VTEC won't put the car into limp mode BTW. It just wont engage the secondary lobe.

Idunno. It's tough to make sure they weren't slamming gears and stuff. Maybe a small camera with enough battery life for a couple days?

I always wondered why valet key doesn't limit the engine...

But. Taking pics to claim possible damages it's a MUST

also a little fabbing with a LOCK on the gas pedal is and Idea to start.

^ taking the wood block idea (but in metal) with some sort of lock to the pedal to minimize the pedal travel
might not get enough acceleration to come out of 1st

camera may/may not work...depending on where youre shipping to/from...i shipped mine from south carolina to hawaii and it took about a month...if its a short distance a remote camera may work

I have to agree go somewhere else. Lately i have been reading about all these people knowingly letting shady people handle or work on their car.
Are you all going crazy?

Man up pay a little more and deal with some responsible people, or don't bitch when you save 50buck and they tear up your car.

+1 why would you even consider giving your keys to someone you don't trust?
