Disable vtec. Car isn't very fast without it.

or tell them the brakes are bad and to be very careful while driving it.

take pictures of mileage? and your whole car, so u can claim damages or excessive mileage

Put the spare tire on the front. Note the mileage and make a note with a warning. End of story.

put a wooden block under the gas peddle that will allow it just enough play to move it around.. Or leave a note in the car stating that this car is equipped with a "black box"..

I always wondered why valet key doesn't limit the engine...


But. Taking pics to claim possible damages it's a MUST

also a little fabbing with a LOCK on the gas pedal is and Idea to start.

^ taking the wood block idea (but in metal) with some sort of lock to the pedal to minimize the pedal travel

what about messing with the vtec solenoid so vtec does not engage?

You could just unplug the vtec solenoid and that will throw it into limp mode, they will probably not figure this out.
