Default Easy way to lower S2K power?

Is there any easy way without hurting the car to set it in limp home or some other way to lower rpm´s and engine power?

I´m transporting a S2K by boat and don´t want them to kill the engine, a friend works in the harbour and they even race during the nights...

Very good question. I'd disconnect one of the spark plug coils, maybe the one for piston #1 or #4. The car will still start and move but shouldn't have a lot of power on 3 cylinders, not to mention it will idle and accelerate like sh** due to the unbalance. This shouldn't damage anything short term.

Any one else have other ideas?

Thought about that but they might floor it to make it fire on all four, don´t know...

dont disconnect the coil, it will still inject fuel. unplug 2 of the 4 fuel injectors.

The problem is that they need the car in good shape, able to drive on and off the boat, park it and other stuff. They will probably use a fork lift if it runs on two cylinders.

Hmmm, hard. AEM EMS and set the rev limit at 2000 rpm?

Put the spare tire on the rear? Without a good rear tire, I doubt they'd want to go fast in it.

^ i thought that placing the spare in the rear could possibly harm the differential, i always thought u put the spare up front. Just in case they take it out like that.

Put a note on, noting the mileage and leave it at a high mileage (on the odometer) if they do more than like 0.2 miles questions needs to be asked.

I thought the spare wasn't supposed to go on the rear.

How about adjust the throttle cable?

Or, is there any way to setup a padlock -under- the go pedal so it's impossible to hit WOT or even close to it?
