E-manage features (Questions on what it can/can't do)
#11
Well,
If your only tuning for WOT then you guys are right but, I thought the Emanage had a 16 by 16 table that allowed the stock map to be adjusted/ offseted any where within the 16 by 16 table (RPM vs. MAP)...... this would mean that the tuning would no longer be just for WOT.
If indeed it has a 16 by 16 table for fuel adjustments then, IMO you would want to tune the car after a full ECU reset is done.... This allows us to always return to the same starting point every time u reset of ECU. Therefore maintaining the final offsets of you tuning........
With this, even if the ECU learns....... you can reset it every so often to get back to your desired A/F ratio.
Make Sense????? BRing on the heat
Beroz......

The problem with this is that it seems to learn some things slower than others. Idle quality sucks for the first few driving cycles after a reset, and the partial throttle air / fuel ratio will probably run rich for several days. The effects may also be different depending on weather conditions. If you set your emanage for a reset ECU it may work better in the summer than it will in the winter or vice versa.
