Default E-Manage and 550cc installed, but i have still some questions!

Today i installed my E-Manage and the RC 550cc Injectors.

I started my car and no CEL so far

On the E-Manage i choosed the injector correction. As original Injector Size i choosed 290cc and new size 550cc.

But now comes the problem. If i accelerate in neutral to about 2-3K rpm it cuts the fuel off, dunno why?

Could anyone help me please?

Salaska I don't think an e-manage can fully compensate for 550 injectors. It's a piggyback it's ability to change values is limited by the parameters of the honda ecu. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think so.

Salaska, you need to change the injector ratio. The original size is 360 cc. You are probably running too lean.

Also, that is a known problem. Mine does the same thing. It has no effect on the car when you are driving. Only a problem when no load on the engine. Whenever the injectors are much greater than 500 cc, this will happen. In neutral, I can only rev to about 2200 rpm before it starts to oscillate between about 1400 to 2200 rpm. Doesn't happen when driving. Not a big deal.

I have several GSC maps, all using different start off injectior correction sizes. 330's, 360's, 380's, and 290's.
Aus2000's maps use 290, but he is running 440cc injectors.

I was unaware about a no load oscillation, thanks for sharing fperra.

BTW, My car was having a wierd hesitation on the crossover into boost. I had the BC set at 2.9V, (stock Comptech ESM setting) I have currently removed the timing control harness, due to it's in-accuracy, and replaced it with a re-mapped Vortech (Split-second) timing controller. The hesitation went away after switching the BC setting to 2.75V (stock Vortech clamp is set at 2.73V)

First i want to say thank you for all your help!

I changed the injector correction to 360cc and it works much better now.
I took my car out for a really slow and careful testdrive, because i dont changed anything on the injector map (all settings to 0).

It runs fine the first 10 minutes, but after some time it starts to bog in low rpm

Is this normal? I hope i the injectors are not faulty or i did not install them correctly.

Please tell me thats normal and goes away with better tunning!

Might be running too rich and fouling the plugs. Probably need more tuning.

Quick Reply: E-Manage and 550cc installed, but i have still some questions!
