Randy, have you timed your car in the 1/4 mile? I wonder how fast it would go.

No I haven't ran the 1/4 mile with current setup.

Recently I have installed the 2.6 inch pulley and blow off valve.
Since the car isn't tuned and 440cc injectors pumping out mass load of gas, my car is running like crap. I am currently in a process of trying to make RC change my 440cc injectors to something less like 370-390cc.
Even with VAFC leaned out max 45% from 1k-5k rpm it is still running very rich and rich enough to throw a check engine light code.
It is going to take some time to iron out the tuning problem.

The car still pulls great nevertheless once past 5K rpm once the a/f ratio gets better.
I just haven't gotten balls to throw myself to replacement ecu like AEM so like I have said it is going to take a while before I don't have to touch anything.

Unexpecting nuisance is that since the blower is pumping extra extra hard, air pumping noise is obnoxcious that it over shadows blow off valve sound.
I always wondered where constant 'chu,chu,chu...' sound came from since the 3.4inch pulley install but my mechanic and I finally located the noise and that was from blower sucking and pumping out massive air.
I was afraid I damaged the blower but surprisingly it is still fine.

The "chu chu chu" sound sounds like compressor surge, did it only happen when you let off the throttle??

If that's the case, then the blow off valve should solve that problem...

Randy get a proper tuneable piggy back ecu - such as Unichip -
more variability than VAFC, less problems than EMS since its only a piggyback

Hi Randy
Thanks for the pulley. U must be running at least 12 lbs of boost because your old pulley that u sent me runs 10 lbs in my car. My car was dynoed today. 315 hp and 210 torque. I also had the same problem, running lean after 6500 rpm. I finally have the ems tuned but we were running the stock injectors instead of the rc440. I should get at least 340 when properlly tunes with big injectors. It also helps to have a 50 shot of nos. Well thanxs again for the pulley.

cjb80,
chu, chu sound crescend when I accelerate and rev increases.
So blow off valve didn't help. I am just working the shit out of the blower.

I had intake cover off all the time so the sound is much louder but it is still audible when the cover is back on. I just have to live with the nuisance.
