yea, vafc for vtec equipped hondas, safc for all other cars.
not sure why you didnt get a vafc inteh first place.
there are many other brands fo vtec controllers though
jstu get a fields boxer unit if you dont want to scrap the safc

i thought this setup would yield higher gains? is it because he didnt change the a/f ratio on all rpms? i believe i saw someone post that they had i/e(no cat) and vafc and he got like 220whp. he mightve had a toda header too, but im not sure. would a header make this kind of difference?

A header won't do jack in terms of overall peak power, but could provide nice mid-range gains.

good numbers, I did 212.8whp on dynojet with just t1r and testpipe, no tuning at all, I was very surprised

you=retarded.
build an engine before you make blunt statements like that, your going to mislead those in here who dont know any better

a good header can do 15-20hp PEAK but these headers are not cheap,

im educated on the purpose/effects of a header...i was just wondering on an S2000 dyno. the above post of 213whp from e/test pipe sounds more accurate as to what im talking about. if he VAFC'd himself and got a toda header, i believe he'd see almost 225whp. this is all i plan to do for my motor, then some gears, clutch and flywheel, and 50 shot and ill be all set for summer.

Comparing numbers from different dynos is pretty pointsless since they all give off different readings (Some higher...some lower).

Yo buddy chill out, you have no idea what you're talking about. A header by itself on a S2000 15-20 hp? NOT IN THIS WORLD!!!!!

Actually that is quite possible. The J's Racing header that we dyno tested a while back already made 8whp peak power over the Mugen header, and that is a Mugen header we're talking about!

Dyno Plot: (the higher number being the J's Racing header)

Cheers,
Justin

Mugen header typically yields zero gains at peak and will often lose a couple hp up there, but the return is in the midrange.
