Aren't S2000s usually done in 4th. Don't know if this makes a difference, but who knows.
There have been S2000s dynoing close to 210, so does that mean those who dyno at 200 should "get rid of theirs"? Everything is relative.

If you were getting dynoed in 3rd gear and the dyno operator assumed close to a 1:1 ratio your results could be way off.
Optimally, I believe the dyno operator is supposed to type in the gear ratio being used. Some dyno's probably have the correct profiles in their computer already too.
I don't know all the technicalities behind this information but its what I've read and been told by many different people who have dynoed their car a lot or from dyno operators.

just for reference...my 02 with spoon n1 and a clean oem airfilter dyno's 213rwhp and 133rwtq. the pulls where done on a mustang dyno. i would look into just performing some maintanace and then going to a shop that dyno's cars correctly. hang in there, dyno dont really mean that much in the scheme of things.

Also those sort of numbers in 3rd sound like no error correction at all. My car pulled around the same in 3rd and without error correction 3rd is the best gear for this car.

I called INtercrew ans asked them about the Dyno they used. He told me DynoJet 248c. He also told me a Fan in front wont do jack shit unless i have a front mounted intercooler.

^^ he is not too bright.
a fan does help an intercooler, but it also helps lower NA intake temps by cooling down the stock airbox and related components. when the air is still the heat transfer is very slow, but when there is moving air the heat transfer increases bc there is more air moving around the parts.
try cooling down a bottle of wine in cold still water and try cooling it down in running/moving water. the second method cools it down MUCH faster.

I agree the car should be dynoed in 4th. you want it as close to 1-1 as possible.
ex. on my vette a 3.90 diff. will drop your hp number by 8hp compared to a stock 3.45 diff. ratio.
If they dynoed in third and did not correct the ratio the info is only good for your next 3rd. gear pull. ex. after a mod to compare your hp change.
you can not compare these results with other cars.
Also Mustang and dynojet machines produce very different numbers (dynojet being higher) they may have a mustang dyno
No fan and 20 min. cool down as stated is really a heat soak.
don't feel so bad.
