Default Dumb question

Is an f20c in an 01 idle loude then a f22 in an 04? Like valve train at all? Cause mine is louder then my buddys f22 next to each other with Identical mods

Nope. Try a valve adjustment? What is the mileage on the 2 motors also?

The ap2 has 52k my ap1 has 72k miles. I recentley changed my retainers as well.

Also right when I touch the throttle the sound goes away and comes back at idle.

Did you adjust your valves after you changed retainers?

oh yeah. Maybe your TCT is staring to fail as well.
