tell him about this invention called the dipstick...perhaps he has heard of it? sorry for your troubles...lesson learned - the lesson everyone should learn from this is to use careful judgement when handing someone your keys...s2000 or toyota echo. good luck man!

10 Quarts total then, im reading sometihng like you already had 4 and he added 6, main thing that concerns me is the Lucas, cause i read a test done on Bobistheoilguy.com that Lucas is the worst shit you could use if you already use a quality oil, especially because according to bob that makes the oil foam up like hell and foamed lubricant is essentially no lubricant.

I've seen holes blown right through an aluminum engine block due to massive overfilling of oil. Those quick lube type of places do this kind of thing all the time. (Fill a car up with oil twice, or fill it without draining first.)

He must have done something really bad to put lucas oil treatment in there, try to get the entire story from him first. I'm guessing that he drove it like he stole it.

Engine takes 5.7qts. He added 6 qts. Almost 12 quarts of oil in the engine. Oil probably filled the combustion chamber when you tried to start it. Lawnmower noise was probably a rod bending. If it wont turn with a wrench at the crankshaft; then internal's are most likely damaged.
